Kyle's done such an amazing job teaching my 14 yo and 16 yo guitar, bass, and songwriting. He's guided them from absolute beginners to playing original songs at live gigs in a matter of months--and he does it all with grace and sensitivity to their needs as students and people. He combines high levels of musicianship and expertise with support and patience--a rare and wonderful teaching style. Plus, he's a friendly and fun guy--always easy to talk to. My son has taken ukulele lessons for a year from Kyle and also plays with a jam band that Kyle manages. Kyle is a great teacher, amazing (and patient) with kids. My son is getting a ton out of it.

I've been one of Kyle's students for over a year, first learning ukulele and most recently learning acoustic guitar. Kyle is an incredibly talented musician and teacher. He really takes the time to get to know his students, understanding their unique goals, and then develops very approachable lesson plans that keep students (me included!) engaged and entertained. Prior to working with Kyle, I always struggled with "what to learn next" and struggled to find songs that I (and my family) would actually enjoy playing. Needless to say, that is no longer an issue and each week I look forward to my lesson with Kyle!

Kyle is an excellent music teacher and facilitator. He meets each musician where they are at and helps them find their greatest strengths. Private lessons and band practice are always a fun, interactive time with plenty of guidance and direction when needed but lots of laughs too.

I'm glad I found a teacher as patient, friendly and knowledgable as Kyle. My kids have been taking lessons with him for two years.When they began they had barely touched a guitar in their life. Now they're able to read sheet music, and play songs.I'd recommend Kyle to anyone who wants to learn guitar regardless of age or skill level.

Kyle Chapman is a great guitar teacher. I had zero guitar experience prior to his lessons, and I feel like I've made very good progress with his lessons. He's a great guy and I highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to learn music.

Ostinato music lessons are as good as they get and our daughter has grown by leaps and bounds under Kyle's thoughtful, methodical, and flexible curriculum. Kyle helps his students become a well rounded musician vs just simply teaching them how to play an instrument. We feel quite fortunate Kyle is in her mix of musical teachers/coaches. Highly recommended.

I've been taking lessons with Kyle for over a year, he's my second guitar instructor and has an incredible understanding and background in music (not just guitar) and makes learning easy and accessible. Well worth it to go independent and support a talented musician (who also just happens to be a great teacher too), he's very flexible, lesson cost is very fair, he goes out of his way to provide opportunities to play with groups/ensembles and take additional lessons outside of the scope of just guitar, etc. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO.

Kyle rocks! Literally. My son and I have been taking lessons with him for years, first in person, and then after he moved away, over Zoom. Kyle is amazing at crafting a personalized curriculum based on your music tastes. He's even introduced me to some great bands that are now among my favorites! Kyle is also excellent with teaching kids. I recommend him to all my fellow dads. He's extremely patient, calm, and always positive!

Kyle is super hands on friendly and fun to work with. He's been teaching me and my two kids for a while now, and It's been great. We even had a few recitals where I got to play along with my 7 year old which was a memory I will cherish.

Kyle is a great teacher and even better person. I’m taking lessons just for a personal hobby and I appreciate his ability to cater to my learning style. He definitely leans in to your music preferences when choosing which songs to teach too. Would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn guitar, personally or professionally.
